Getac V100 tablet PC fully rugged convertible for extreme conditions
GETAC introduced advanced convertible tablet PC, Getac V100, the last battle-tested and the ability to work in very extreme conditions. The model has received a certification of UL 1604 which allows a computer to use in potentially explosive environments, as well as in gas, petrochemical, aviation and other industries.
Getac V100 also has received several updates, for example, the Intel Merom processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz replaced to the Intel Penryn with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz, and the system bus frequency was increased from 533 MHz to 800 MHz. The amount of RAM, a total has increased from 2GB to 4GB and the hard disk from 250 GB to 320 GB replaced. Plus, the entire GETAC V100 now has the opportunity to connect Wi-Fi 802.11n, ExpressCard slot in a standard configuration. The computer is equipped with a waterproof keyboard, steered the display brightness of 1200 NITs screen with LED-backlit, there is also a slot for SD memory card.
In addition to the Getac V100 fully rugged convertible has a removable hard drive, which establishes the special shock absorbers to prevent damage during operation and transportation. The computer has, according to the manufacturers, reliable dust-water mud protection. Its weight is about 2.22 kg. Among the other features are Bluetooth interface, Ethernet 10/100/1000, and an integrated GPS receiver.
