Gigabyte S1024 ThinNote, T1028M TouchNote, and M1022 Booktop: Three new netbooks
Gigabyte quietly launches three new netbooks, including one as a Tablet PC. The first is that Gigabyte S1024 ThinNote, this netbook that seems quite thin. With a 10.1 inch screen, Atom processor N270 at 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM and 80GB hard drive, with features like these does not seem anything new. Includes 802.11g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, webcam is normal and measures 250 × 170×20.9 mm. At least it is thin, because their price will be around € 500.
This is the format netbook Tablet PC Gigabyte T1028M TouchNote. It is rather more of the same, includes a 16:9 screen of 10.1 inches, resolution 1024 × 600 pixels, Atom N270 processor, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, a QWERTY keyboard with a size of 92%. Price more than the previous model, € 548.23.
Perhaps the only thing that really changed in these models is the design, but at least in this netbook, the Gigabyte M1022 Booktop characteristics are more serious. It includes the same 10.1-inch screen, this one with a slightly higher resolution, 1366 × 768 pixels to play high-definition video (720p) with an Atom N280 processor and Intel chipset GN40. 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, ExpressCard card slot, webcam and set a price, 503 €.
