Gigabyte S1080 slate PC on pre-order in the US
Gigabyte was announced a new tablet early this year, the Gigabyte S1080 and went to sale in its home market (Taiwan) last month. This slate PC is ready to become available in the United State market.
The Gigabyte S1080 tablet is running on Windows 7 Home Premium OS and based on Intel Pine Trail platform. New S1080 slate PC is brings a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and a 4000mAh battery.
Gigabyte S1080 tablet is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an SD card slot, and a 320GB hard drive. As connectivity, it has 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, one USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 3.0, and a D-Sub output.
This Gigabyte tablet is scheduled to ship on July 1st, 2011 and goes on pre-order in the US for priced at $649.
