Beside Booktop M2432 notebook, Gigabyte has today official announced its 10-inch Atom-powered tablet that called the Gigabyte S1080. This slate PC is runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS and designed to be the ultimate mobile device as a high-performing multitasking slate like full productivity of a PC.

Gigabyte S1080 tablet has a 10.1-inch capacitive multitouch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 320GB hard drive (5,400 rpm). There are Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0, and 3.5G module (optional).

The Gigabyte S1080 slate PC is equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera, card reader, stereo speakers, one USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, and D-sub connector for external monitor. Size of new S1080 is 270 x 173 x 15 mm and weight about 1 kg. Its battery is enabling up to four hours of use per charge.

It will be available for expected price of $630.
