Gigabyte S1080 Windows 7 Slate gets dual-core Atom, USB 3.0

Gigabyte has unveiled a sleek tablet in Taiwan, the Gigabyte S1080 that based on Intel Atom platform and runs Windows 7 OS. The Gigabyte S1080 Slate is sports a 10.11 capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel and boast a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor.

New Gigabyte S1080 Windows 7 Slate is equipped with a 320GB hard drive, one USB 3.0 port, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a D-Sub output.

It is designed for fit the demanding needs of consumers who need full productivity of a PC in a high-performing multitasking slate.

Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing or release date but expected priced at around $300.
