Gigabyte has expanded its new Pinetrail convertible tablet netbook, the Gigabyte T1000 series. It is successor to the Gigabyte T1028 tablet netbook that similar design/chassis but its color in gold rather than brown and it has a chiclet keyboard. Gigabyte T1000 series notebook is comes in two versions, Gigabyte T1000X and Gigabyte T1000P.

Gigabyte T1000X netbook has a 4500mAh 4-cell 32.4Wh battery and a single touch display. Dimensions of Gigabyte T1000X are 26.5 x 19.5 x 3.85 inches (WxDxH) and weighs 1.3kg. The Gigabyte T1000P netbook packs a 7650mAh 6-cell 41Wh battery and a multi touch display. Size of Gigabyte T1000P is 26.5 x 21.4 x 4.14 inches (WxDxH) and weighs 1.48 kg.

Both Gigabyte T1000X and T1000P tablet netbook has features 10.1-inch HD display with 1366 x 768 resolution, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 1.3M Webcam, and Gigabit LAN.

Gigabyte T1000 series convertible tablet netbook is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 or a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 processors, 1GB RAM, a GMA 3150 graphics, and 250GB hard drive. It is equipped with eSATA/USB combo, 2x USB ports, a headset jack, VGA, express card, card reader, and optional 3G modem.
