Gigabyte T1028X touchscreen netbook
Gigabyte has expanded its family of netbook, T1028X with 10.1-inch display with LED backlight. Gigabyte T1028X is a tablet PC/netbook with a screen lid which can be not only open, but turned around a vertical axis 180 degrees. The display has a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with resolution 1366×768 pixels and supports the sensory input data.
This Gigabyte T1028X netbook is built on the basis of an Intel Atom N280 processor, running at clock frequency of 1.66 GHz. The amount of RAM in the base configuration, 1GB of RAM, hard disk drive is capable to hold up to 160GB.
Gigabyte T1028X has comes with 1.3-megapixel web camera, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi b/g, 4-in-1 card reader, Express Card slot and 3G HSPA modules (optional). It is also worth mentioning the existence of three USB 2.0 port and 6-cell 54wh battery.
The Gigabyte T1028X runs Windows XP Home OS. Its dimensions are 265x195x39 mm and weight is about 1.5kg. Gigabyte has not reported its price with the new Gigabyte T1028X but it is available online in Europe at an estimated cost of €497.70 excluding tax ($702).
