Gigabyte has recently announced its new ultrabook portable computer device, the Gigabyte U2442F Extreme. Based on Intel Ivy Bridge hardware platform, this laptop is designed to delivers ultra-performance for multimedia enjoyment but still lightweight.
High-end configuration of Gigabyte U2442F Extreme ultrabook brings a dual-core 2GHz (3.1GHz in Turbo mode) Core i7-3537U processor. For memory feature, it has 16GB of RAM and 256GB solid state drive or 1TB hard drive with 128GB mSATA SSD.
The U2442F Extreme laptop has a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, and either of GeForce GT 730M or GT 650M (2GB) discrete graphics.
In connectivity term, new Gigabyte U2442F Extreme ultrabook provides Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, D-sub, HDMI, two USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. Other features are stereo speakers, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and SD card reader. It measures 339 x 233 x 18.5-21 mm and weighs 1.59-1.69 kg.
The price of new Gigabyte U2442F Extreme ultrabook is not yet known.
