GlobusBOOK 750 Wi-Fi e-Book Reader

GlobusGPS has recently announced availability of its e-book reader device on Russian market, called the GlobusBOOK 750. The e-reader will be available in August 2010. It is comes with a 6-inch touchscreen E-Ink screen (800 x 600 pixels) and support for Wi-Fi connectivity.

GlobusBOOK 750 e-reader is boasts a 532MHz FreeScale processor, 128 MB RAM, 512 MB onboard memory, a SD/MMC/SDHC card slot (up to 32GB), and a 1600 mAh Lithium-Ion battery. The e-book reader is provides USB 2.0 interface, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, built-in speaker, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The GlobusBOOK 750 is allows using stylus that has handwriting recognition, drawing, and virtual keyboard on-screen.

The GlobusBOOK 750 is packs Text-To-Speech, e-dictionary, and MP3 player. It is support for various file formats including FB2, FB2 (ZIP), PDF, DjVu, TXT, HTML, RTF, DOC, EPUB, MOBIPOCKET, CHM, PDB, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and MP3.

Dimensions of GlobusBOOK 750 are 197 x 123 x 11 mm and weight 300 grams.
