gobandit, the Germany Company, has release its newest high-definition active sports camcorder with integrated GPS, called gobandit GPS HD camcorder. This camcorder is designed for active sports that IPX7-certified waterproof (immersed 1m under water for 30 minutes) and SiRF GPS receiver for tracking location. It also has brings gobandit GPS technology which is calculates distance and speed in 3D ensuring every heart-thumping minute of action that showing altitude and position on a map.
The gobandit GPS HD camcorder has features 5MP CMOS sensor, 720p HD (1280×720 pixels) at 30fps or 640×480 pixel at 30fps video recording, continues captures still shots at 3sec or 5sec interval. gobandit GPS HD camera also packs a 135-degree wide angle lens, which is able rotate up to 100 degrees to each side, 2GB internal memory, a SD/SDHC memory card slot, and a 1200mAh removable Lithium-ion Battery.
Dimensions of gobandit GPS HD camcorder are 105 x 62 x 34mm and weight 145g. It is bundled with helmet/flat-surface mount. No word on pricing or availability on market.
