Google intros Chrome OS partners

Although many computer manufacturers still remain silent on the prospects of a new operating system, Chrome OS. Google Inc. released a list of companies, now plans to release netbook with this software platform.

Google vice president of product management Sundar Pichai in Chrome blog told that the Internet Corporation is working to advance the new operating system, with numerous manufacturers of microelectronics and computer systems, and software developers. Some of these partner companies include such well-known global brands as Acer, Adobe, ASUS, Freescale, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Qualcomm, Toshiba and Texas Instruments.

All these companies are in this list of well-deserved. For example, ASUS is the first company that made the market a mini-computer named netbook. Acer is the fastest growing manufacturer of notebooks, most of which have very attractive prices. With respect to HP, the company is the world’s largest manufacturer of computer systems. But pay attention that the list of partners, Google is not yet a Dell, the second largest producer of computers in the world.
