Chinese smartphone maker, GooPhone has launched new quad-core smartphone with incredibly cheap. New Android handset is called the GooPhone X1 and hits the shelves certain online resellers at price tag 499 Yuan, which only amounts to around $81 or €62 at today’s exchange rate. Speaking about specifications, the X1 comes with a MediaTek MT6589 processor, based on the Cortex-A7 architecture from ARM, and clocked at 1.2GHz.
Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the GooPhone X1 has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 1,800 mAh battery, and dual-SIM cards support. This quad-core Android phone features a 4.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of FWVGA 480 x 854 pixels, a 2MP camera on the back, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera.
Well, folks in China can get this smartphone for only 499 Yuan with local phone providers. But if you are sure want it on outside of China, you have to pay out 593 Yuan (still under $100) for the GooPhone X1 without contract.
