GoPro HD Hero2 active durable camera
GoPro has started selling its new rugged compact camera, the GoPro HD Hero2. This action camera is a major refresh over the original model, the GoPro HD Hero. The new GoPro durable camera has updates its new video sensor, which is twice the performance as the original such as better low light capture.
The GoPro HD Hero2 is designed specifically for riders, hiking, and other outdoor enthusiasts. It is comes in three configurations – HD Hero2 Outdoor Edition, HD Hero2 Motorsports Edition, and HD Hero2 Surf Edition.
GoPro HD Hero2 Specifications
New GoPro HD Hero2 smartphone is packs a professional 11-megapixel sensor, faster image processor, a SD memory card (up to 32GB), Mini HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
HD Hero2 rugged action camera is capable to 170 degree field of view (127 and 90 degrees) in 1080p and 720p video. It is also able to 720p at 60 frames per second, 960p and 1080p at 48fps and 30fps, respectively. At resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA), it can reach to 120 frames per second.
The GoPro HD Hero2 with new sensor and processor is enabling take 10 photos per second (@11 megapixel resolution) or one every 0.5 seconds. New HD Hero2 is also compatible with accessories and add-on for previous GoPro cameras.
