Haier H7, Android smartphone for $150
The Chinese company, Haier presented at the CommunicAsia 2009 exhibition of its first smartphone based on Android OS. This company is known primarily for the Chinese market, its electronics, including cell phones, sold mostly there. But Haier H7 Android smartphone will receive and outside of China: In September this year, it will sell in Europe, the first occurrence should happen in France.
Haier H7 is a budget solution with simple features, but includes the need to a minimum. The device only works in GSM/GPRS and it has no support for 3G. It is equipped with a 2.8-inch touch screen, 2 MP camera, GPS-receiver and FM radio. In addition, the Smartphone supports the Wi-Fi wireless and Bluetooth, as well as a microSD memory card. Perhaps, Haier H7 will work at the new version of Android 2.0 (Donut). The cost of the device will be extremely low for a smartphone, it’s just $150. Perhaps, it’s not the price of the contract.
