Handheld is preparing to launch a new very rugged laptop in the US market, the Handheld Algiz XRW. As one of the most popular rugged notebooks ever, this machine is designed for use in very rough environments, like as low as minus 4 degrees Fahrenheit or as hot as 131 degrees temperatures. The Algiz XRW from Handheld is also suitable at high altitudes, and of course, highly water resistant as well as fully dust proof.
Reportedly, the new Algiz XRW rugged netbook model has shown off at FCC website and packed by an Intel Atom N2600 higher-performance processor. The current model is still brings an Intel Atom Z550 chip.
Coming with super-rugged case, this mini-laptop packs a 10-inch resistive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. As memory term, there are 2GB of RAM and a 64GB SSD.
The Algiz XRW nettop is equipped with a webcam, a SD memory card slot, and a 5200mAh battery. In connectivity features, it has VGA, Ethernet, USB, and RS232 ports, as well as pogo-pins (a docking station support). There is an optional SIM card slot and 3G module.
