Handheld US, specializing in supplier of rugged PDAs and handheld computers, have announced its latest rugged tablet computer, called Handheld US Algiz 7. It is one of the lightest 7-inch tablets on the market.
New Handheld US Algiz 7 is an ultra rugged mobile that made of durable plastic and rubber meets IP65 specifications and stringent MIL-STD-810G military standards for vibration, drops, extreme temperatures, and withstanding humidity. Handheld US Algiz 7 rugged tablet is used Handheld’s unique MaxView screen technology, which is the latest technology in outdoor view ability ensuring the user the best outdoor screen visibility available on the market.
Handheld Algiz 7 ultra-mobile rugged is boasts a 7-inch touchscreen display with 1024×600 pixels and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor. It is equipped with a 64GB solid state drive (SSD), 2GB RAM DDR2, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, two USB ports, GPS, a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash, and a 2400 mAh battery.
It is pre-installed with Windows 7 Professional OS. Dimensions of Handheld Algiz 7 rugged tablet are 140x230x400 mm and weight is 1.1 kg. Handheld Algiz 7 will be available in March 2010 and now available for pre-order.
