Hercules eCafe Slim HD and eCafe Ex HD netbook

Hercules has just released two eCAFE series netbooks, called the Hercules eCafe Slim HD and the Hercules eCafe Ex HD. Both ultra-portable computers are boasted by a Cortex A8 processor paired with runs Linux OS that called Hercules eCafe Netbook OS.

Hercules eCafe Slim HD and eCafe Ex HD netbook pack a 10.1-inch LED backlit display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, Ethernet LAN, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a mini USB port, 50GB of online storage, and three USB 2.0 ports.

The Hercules eCafe Slim HD netbook has brings 8GB of flash storage. The Hercules eCafe Ex HD netbook has 16GB of storage that including an 8GB SDHC card and 8GB SSD, as well as an HDMI port. Newly eCafe Ex HD has also multimedia touch controls, and just 1.1 inches thick with weight 2.4 pounds. The eCafe Slim HD netbook is a thin and light design with only 0.8 inches thick and 1.9 pounds weighs.

Both Hercules Linux-based netbooks are equipped with an SDHC card reader and a webcam. Their batteries are allowing up to 13 hours of run time and claimed just 4 seconds for wake from sleep. Both Hercules eCafe Slim HD and eCafe Ex HD netbook should be available in April 2011 for price of $229 and $269, respectively.
