Hitachi Desktstar 2TB HDD

Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (HGST) added new Deskstar line of hard drives with capacities up to 2TB.
The Desktstar 2TB HD32000IDK7 is 3.5 inches form, intended for use in desktop computers. Hitachi Desktstar 2TB has specs with 7,200 rpm disc speed, 32MB buffer capacity. The connection interface to a computer is through the Serial ATA II; speed read and write data are not specified.
The new hard drive has use Hitachi technology, aiming to reduce noise and improve the performance and reliability. It is noted that the Hitachi Desktstar 2TB is implemented improved power management, which provides high energy efficiency. Also Hitachi is known best-in-class power management and thermals.
Hitachi Desktstar 2TB is available for purchase in some online stores with price approximately $270. Recall that the hard drive up to 2TB is already offered by some Hitachi’s competitors. For example, Western Digital has announced a hard drive 2TB in January this year. WD Caviar Green WD20EADS Storage as same Desktstar 2TB HD32000IDK7 has a rotational speed 7,200 rpm and it is equipped with a buffer of 32 MB.
