HKC as the issuance of the first mobile phone based on Windows Mobile Professional and it’s with support for two SIM cards. Now the company of Hong Kong released a new smartphone, Mopad 8E.
The new product will be able to handle two SIM cards at once and one of the most interesting information on this device with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, it will be equipped with a GPS receiver and a DVB-H digital TV tuner.
The rest of its specifications are:
- Band: GSM 900/1800/1900MHz, EDGE, GPRS
- Marvell PXA310 624MHz processor Chipset NXP5209
- 8GB of memory 128MB ROM and RAM
- 3.2-inch QVGA touch display type
- Bluetooth
- 3MP camera
- MicroSD card slot
At the same time that this model offered an alternative HKC Mopad 8E targeted the Chinese market. The cell will have the same configuration, but instead of TV tuner DVB-H tuner is built-in CMMB (Chinese mobile TV standard).
Finally I add that it’s despite the interesting specifications, none of smartphone has 3G and WiFi.
At present, we do not know anything about the possible availability of equipment on the European market, or of its presumed value.
