Honeywell MT-HWGWT8218AM: the first 82″ LCD-TV (1080p) to Monster LCD Market

This year’s sale in the U.S. will be the first 82-inch LCD-TV (1080p). Although hardly a model for the build part of Honeywell, the trend is encouraging. The more of these panels is on the market, the sooner they will drop the price. In the longer term is up to an acceptable level for the mass consumer.

Strictly speaking Honeywell, more famous than consumer electronics, a secret government contracts, the TV is not produced. The right to use the brand it sold Taiwan Soyo.

300-pound (about 120 kg) monster MT-HWGWT8218AM supports 120Hz scan angle of 178 degrees, and a dynamic contrast 120000:1. There are three HDMI-ports.

As is known, the 82″ panels have produced Sharp and Samsung, but the sale of TV sets do not exist, they are only available for corporate clients. Although the purchase of this TV, if desired, can anyone in the stores is not found.

The price of the model has not yet been determined, but given that the Soyo and Honeywell does not belong to the “first line of” producers of electronics, is expected to be lower than that of the famous competition.
