HP has official introduced a new high-end Chrome-based laptop, namely the HP Chromebook 13. It is an ultra thin notebook with an anodized aluminum chassis.
This machine packs a 13.3-inch display that enable to run at QHD 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution. Company has also said the device is the first Chromebook to feature a 6th-generation Intel Core M processor. New HP Chromebook 13 with QHD display supports up to 16GB of RAM.
Coming in only 12.9 mm thin, this laptop weighing 1.29 kg. The HP Chromebook 13 laptop provides Bang & Olufsen-tuned to ensure better sound quality. There is also machine-grilled dual speakers above the keyboard. Its 45 watt-hour battery can be charge just 11.5 hours, thanks to the USB Type-C fast charging.
HP is also offering an optional HP Elite USB-C Docking station and port replicator accessories, which ‘transform’ the Chromebook 13 becomes a full desktop solution. This laptop has two USB-C ports, one USB 3.0 port, a headphone jack, and a microSD card reader.
New HP Chromebook 13 notebook would be available for purchase sometime in April and asking price of $499. But this laptop will arrive with a range of configurations including 4, 8 and 16GB of RAM as well as Core m3, m5 and m7 processors. Their pricing are $599, $819 and $1029 options.
