In additional to HP EliteBook 2740p Convertible Tablet Notebook, HP has unveils a conventional 12.1-inch LED-backlit display notebook, called HP EliteBook 2540p that is rugged portable. This notebook is comes as the lightest EliteBook series.
HP EliteBook 2540p notebook is boasts an Intel Core i5/i7 processor, 250GB to 500GB hard drive.
The HP EliteBook 2540p laptop comes with standard 6-cell battery with enabling up to 8 hours of use or an extended 9-cell battery for 10.5 hours. Its weight is 1.53 kg and has 2 megapixel webcam with business card reader software, Gobi broadband 3G modem, and 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi.
HP 2540p meets the military-standard tests (MIL-STD 810G) for dust, humidity, shock, altitude, and high/low temperatures. It is expected to available in US market for starts $1,099.
