HP has just introduced its new Sandy Bridge-powered EliteBook business notebook, called the HP EliteBook 8460p. The new laptop is a new design with streamlined look, and provides platinum-colored casing and able to withstand wear and tear.

HP EliteBook 8460p is durability device including HP DisplaySafe, Longer Barrel Hinge, Better Drainage, MicroScreen Filters (keep dust out of systems), and Rugged Standards (rated to Mil-STD 810G for vibration, drop, humidity, dust, altitude and high temperature).

The new HP EliteBook 8460p notebook is powered by an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, Mobile Intel QM67 Express chipset, AMD Radeon HD 6740 GPU with 1GB VRAM, up to 16GB DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB HDD or 128GB/160GB SSD.

The HP EliteBook 8460p business notebook is pack a 14-inch LED-backlit HD anti-glare display with 1366×768 resolution or can be upgraded to resolution of 1600 x 900 pixel (HD+ WVA display).

The 8460p has also USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 interface, an Express Card/54 slot, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, and option for Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and mobile broadband. Dimensions of HP EliteBook 8460p are 13.31 x 9.11 x 1.25 inches and weight about 4.56 pounds. HP EliteBook 8460p laptop should be debut on March 15th, 2011 and starting price at $999.
