HP Mini 311 Netbook, performance test results

Laptop Magazine published the HP Mini 311 Netbook test results, which built on the NVIDIA ION platform. This HP Mini 311 netbook, recall was announced in mid-September and has an 11.6-inch LED display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, as well as the opportunity to work with HD video, and support simple video games. There is also an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM and hard disk capacity of 160GB.
Judging by the results of real tests, the Hewlett-Packard’s Mini 311 is a pretty a good and productive netbook, it is capable in some areas and competes with full-fledged laptops. For example, the test application of PCMark 05, it was able to score 1917 points, up almost 500 points higher than the average for a netbook. And in the 3DMark06 test, HP Mini 311 Score is totaled 1386 points, which is practically equal to the data shown of MacBook Air.
The high performance of HP Mini 311 netbook is no doubt, it was made possible by the NVIDIA ION platform, including GeForce 9400M graphics accelerator. However, they are note that despite good opportunities, HP Mini 311 netbook is quite affordable solution. Its recommended price in the U.S. is ranges from $399.
