The network has more details about the new netbook, HP Mini 311c, which Hewlett-Packard Company is preparing to submit in the near future. According to information published in a number of resources, this 11.6-inch netbook is made on the basis of NVIDIA ION, possibly at its more budget variations of NVIDIA ION LE.

HP Mini 311c netbook is based on Intel Atom N270 processor with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz, 1GB of RAM, and hard disk capacity of 160GB. There wireless modules are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth connectivity. Also it is a 5-in-1 multi-format card reader (supports SD, MMS, MS, MS Pro and xD), and 6-cell battery.

This HP Mini 311c netbook will be installed on Windows XP Home Edition. Dimensions are 290x204x30.5 mm and weigh 1.45 kg. It is expected that the price of HP Mini 311c Netbook will be around $480 (£292.58 excluding VAT).
