HP Mini 5101 netbook with EV-DO/HSPA support
HP today introduced the new HP Mini 5101 netbook. This 10-inch netbook has stylish black enclosure of lightweight anodized aluminum display and magnesium alloy. The display is protected by acrylic panels, resistant to scratching. Also netbook has equipped with a keyboard with protection against splashes, its size is 95% of the normal full-size keyboard.
In general, the characteristics of HP Mini 5101 is quite standard for netbook, it is based on Intel Atom N280 processor and runs Windows XP or SUSE Linux. However, there is glad of interesting options. For example, you can order a complete set of WSVGA or high-definition (HD) LCD, SSD, or a built-in EV-DO/HSPA modem. Also it has invited to an external optical drive that can connect via USB interface. In addition the HP Mini 5101 has got EPEAT Gold registered in the United States.
According to HP, Mini 5101 netbook is best fit the business users and students, it will not only work with documents, but always stay in touchscreen and get Internet access on mobile networks or Wi-Fi. In addition, the device is compact and light, and you can always carry with them, but battery can develop up to 8 hours. HP Mini 5101 netbook sales start in late July, the cost of new items will start at $449.
