Hewlett Packard Japan has official announced new an Intel CULV notebook, Pavilion DM1. The HP Pavilion DM1 is compact laptop model with weighing about 1.5kg. It is equipped with 11.6-inch glossy display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, an Intel Celeron SU2300 dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.2GHz, a 250GB 2.5-inch SATA HDD (5400rpm), an Intel GMA 4500MHD GPU, and 2GB of RAM (up to 5GB supported)..
HP Pavilion DM1 notebook is also equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, web camera, a 5-in-1 memory card reader, HDMI, VGA, two USB 2.0 ports and a headphone connector. HP Pavilion DM1 also has brings Altec Lansing speakers. It is preinstalled with Windows 7 Home Premium.
Battery of HP Pavilion DM1 is 6-cell lithium-ion battery and provides up to 8 hours. Cost of HP Pavilion DM1 notebook in Japan is around 70,000 yen ($686) and it will be appears in the middle of November 2009.
