HP has started shipping its latest Sandy Bridge-powered notebook, called the HP Pavilion dm4x. The laptop is designed for entertainment with brings new faster processor.

New HP Pavilion dm4x laptop is comes in two flavor choices – steel gray and dark umber.

Pavilion dm4x is powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M dual-core processor, 6GB RAM, a 1GB Radeon HD 6470M graphics, and a 640GB hard drive. New HP Pavilion dm4x has a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel, a DVD writer, 802.11n WiFi + WiDi, Ethernet LAN, HD webcam, and a 6-cell battery.

It is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional OS. The HP Pavilion dm4x is starting price at $699.99 for base configuration (Core i5), while Core i7 configuration is $899.
