HP Pavilion dv8 notebook Core i7 powered
Hewlett Packard has published on its website about detail specification of Pavilion dv8 (HP Pavilion dv8-1080ea). The HP Pavilion dv8 is the second model of the manufacturer that is based on the latest Intel Core i7 mobile processor (the first is HP Envy 13 Laptop).
The HP Pavilion dv8 laptop is comes with the Intel Core i7-720QM CPU with a frequency of 1.6GHz and 6MB of cache memory in the L2, 4GB RAM (up to 8GB), a nVidia GeForce GT 230 GPU with 1GB of memory (up to 2MB), dual hard drives for 320GB each (7200rpm), as well as Lightscribe Blu-Ray ROM with SuperMulti DVD±R/RW Double Layer.
HP Pavilion dv8-1080ea also brings an 18.4-inch HP Ultra Brightview Infinity display with Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixel. Pavilion dv8 notebook is equipped with an acoustic production system with built-in Altec Lansing subwoofer and Home Theater technology to support Dolby.
The Pavilion dv8 has features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/n and Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0, VGA out, HDMI, eSATA, RJ45, two connectors for headphones, microphone input, 5-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader (Secure Digital cards, MultiMedia cards, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, or xD Picture cards), and ExpressCard slot. For security, this notebook has integrated finger print reader.
Dimensions of HP Pavilion dv8 are 43.6×28.6×3.37-4.37 cm and weight is just over 4kg. Pavilion dv8 is powered by an 8-cell lithium-ion battery but unknown capacity. It is running on Windows 7 Home Premium. There are no words about availability on market and release date.
