HP has silently announced the existence of its student-oriented rugged convertible laptop that launches on this holiday season. Dubbed the HP ProBook x360 11 Education Edition rugged convertible laptop, it is built base on quality. New machine comes with an industrial rubber casing protection. Thus, it is able to be customized with extra Gorilla Glass 4-strengthened panel to ensure extra durability.
HP ProBook x360 11 Education Edition notebook is packed by a ‘Take a Test’ app, which is basically recreates the modern test taking procedure. Reportedly, the browser-based application is capable to create a locked-down environment for more secure, online assessments. Users won’t have copy/paste option and access to other files.
The system is also bringing a ‘Set up School PCs’ app that helps them set up devices in three easy steps. It claims the setup app even with no dedicated IT support.
Today’s kindergarten-through-high school students – the so-called digital natives who know how to use a touchpad before they use a spoon – have radically different touchpoints with their tech.
Some might be doing projects on the floor with tablets while others huddle around desktop computers or use laptops to collaborate online with students at different schools.
Specs-wise, the new ProBook x360 11 Education Edition rugged convertible laptop sports an 11.6-inch touchscreen display that capable to delivering a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel. Inside is a Pentium N4200 or Intel Celeron N3350 processor that accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
Its battery enables up to 11 hours of power life in single charge. There are an USB Type C and two USB 3.0 ports, a headphone jack, Ethernet LAN and a microSD reader.
