Hewlett Packard began accepting orders on new HP TouchSmart tm2 convertible tablet notebook. It is ready for shipping on January 27th with cost nearly $950. HP TouchSmart tm2 is equipped with 12.1-inch WXGA touchscreen display with LED backlight and multitouch support.
HP TouchSmart tm2 Laptop is built on Intel Core 2 Duo (SU7300 or SU9600) CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, Mobility Radeon HD 4550 discrete graphics with 512MB of VRAM, a 500GB hard drive, and a DVD writer (optionally Blu-ray drive). The HP TouchSmart tm2 notebook is equipped with web camera, Altec Lansing speakers, and a 5-in-1 card reader.
The HP TouchSmart tm2 is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional (64bit). Battery of HP TouchSmart tm2 notebook is a 6-cell battery that provides more than 9 hours of battery life.
In addition, HP updated other notebooks, the HP dv6t and HP dv7t. Both HP laptops are equipped with a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-520M CPU, 3GB RAM, GeForce GT 320M video system, and 320GB hard drive. The HP dv6t notebook is a 15.6-inch display, while HP dv7t is a 17.3-inch display with resolution of 1600×900 pixel. Their prices are $929 for HP dv6t and $999 for HP dv7t.
