HP Veer Tiny WebOS smartphone
Hewlett-Packard (HP) has just announced a new tiny smartphone called the HP Veer. Dimensions of HP Veer are 84 x 54.5 x 15.1 mm and weight 103 grams.
The new handset is a vertical slider phone. The HP Veer phone has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, runs WebOS 2.2 OS and powered by an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 chip.
The HP Veer smartphone is also packs a 2.6-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 320 x 400 pixels and support for multitouch, 8GB of internal memory, 5 megapixel camera, light sensor, proximity and motion sensor, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and GPS.
HP Veer small smartphone is designed for GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA cellular networks. Its 910 mAh battery is enabling up to five hours of talk time or 300 hours of standby.
New HP Veer slider smartphone will go on sale start in early summer but no word on pricing yet.
