HP Z1 world’s first 27-inch all-in-one workstation [video]
Hewlett-Packard (HP) has officially announced its new enterprise-class desktop, the HP Z1. This machine is the world’s first 27-inch all-in-one workstation. It is designed for computer-aided design, digital media and entertainment professionals.
The HP Z1 brings a 27-inch touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a 2-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, and a Blu-ray drive.
Base configuration is fitted with a dual-core 3.33GHz Intel Core i3-2120 processor, while high-end sports a 3.5GHz Xeon E3-1280 quad-core CPU. For storage, there are up to 2TB hard drive and 160GB/300GB solid state drives.
HP Z1 AIO workstation is offers a choice of Intel integrated or nVidia Quadro Q4000M discrete graphics.
Other feature is a 6-in-1 media reader, a standard VESA mount, two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports. Dimensions of HP Z1 with stand are 660 x 584 x 419 mm. Users can installed the Z1 with Windows 7 or SUSE Linux Ent Desktop 11 operating system.
HP Z1 27-inch all-in-one desktop will go on sale in April and starts $1,899.
