HTC Desire HD Android Smartphone gets Official
The Taiwanese manufacturer, HTC has officially announced the new flagship Android smartphone namely the HTC Desire HD, at its London event. The handset is made of a solid block of aluminum chassis.
The HTC Desire HD can be called an update of the American version, the HTC EVO 4G, which is lack WiMAX. In addition, new HTC Desire HD is works in GSM and UMTS/HSPA, and not CDMA EV-DO.
New HTC Desire HD smartphone is packs a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA), 8 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash and able to record 720p HD video format (1280 x 720 pixels), front camera for video calling, slot for MicroSD card, 3.5mm audio jack, accelerometer, MicroUSB port, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and GPS.
For the improvement of sound quality, HTC Desire HD has brings Dolby Mobile and SRS virtual sound.
In hardware inside, HTC Desire HD is boasts a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8255 processor and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS with HTC Sense UI, support HTCSense.com.
Sale of HTC Desire HD will be launched in October 2010 in Europe and Asia, later this year in North America.
