HTC Desire S Android Smartphone
After HTC Flyer tablet, HTC Incredible S, and HTC Wildfire S smartphones, HTC has added its Android smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2011 (Barcelona, Spain) with the HTC Desire S. The new handset was appears few day ago on the internet under name the HTC Desire 2.
The HTC Desire S smartphone has brings a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen Super TFT display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 768MB RAM, 1.1GB of onboard storage, MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB), 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, image stabilization system and 720p HD video recording, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and GPS. There are accelerometer, digital compass, light sensor, proximity sensor, and a 1450 mAh battery.
HTC Desire S is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm MSM8255 processor and runs Android 2.4 OS with HTC Sense UI.
The HTC Desire S smartphone is designed for GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSPA 900/2100 MHz cellular networks. Dimensions of HTC Desire S are 115 x 59.8 x 11.6 mm and weight 130 grams with battery.
Like other HTC smartphone, the HTC Desire S smartphone is scheduled available in Q2 2011.
