Few days ago, HTC was officially introduced the successor to the HTC Desire smartphone that named the HTC Desire S. In the UK, Amazon has already listed up for the device and giving interesting information on availability and pricing.

The HTC Desire S smartphone will set price of £419.99 Sim Free. The handset is available for pre-order now and will start shipping on April 18th, 2011.

As noted, HTC Desire S smartphone has features a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixel, 5 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, VGA fixed focus front camera, G-Sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and MicroSD memory card slot.

This Android smartphone has also Bluetooth 2.1 with FTP/OPP for file transfer and works in HSPA/WCDMA 900/2100 MHz and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. The HTC Desire S is powered by a 1GHz CPU, 1.1GB internal storage, 768MB RAM, and 1450 mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.

Dimensions of HTC Desire S smartphone are 115 x 59.8 x 11.63 mm and weight 130 grams with battery.
