HTC Gratia Smartphone for European market
The Taiwanese company, HTC has just introduced Android mid-range smartphone, the HTC Gratia. The new handset is a European version of the HTC Aria, which is sold in US, Australia, and Taiwan. The heart of HTC Gratia smartphone is a 600MHz Qualcomm processor and works Android 2.2 Froyo with HTC Sense UI. It has a rubbery casing design with exposed screw-heads.
HTC Gratia is packs a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 320 x 480 (HVGA), 384MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 3.5mm headphone socket, a MicroSD/MicroSDHC memory card, GPS, digital compass, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, g-sensor, a 5 megapixel camera, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. There are an optical trackpad and touch-sensitive keys.
The HTC Gratia smartphone is designed for GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA. Dimensions of HTC Gratia are 103.8 x 57.7 x 11.7 mm and weight 115g. It should start selling in November 2010.
