HTC J Butterfly (M8) smartphone official with Japan-centric features

HTC has recently revealed a new variant of its flagship Android smartphone (HTC One M8) for Japanese market. Dubbed the HTC J Butterfly (M8), its name looks like the first Butterfly generation that unveiled over the past several years. New smartphone has been officially introduced by local carrier KDDI. Yes, the HTC J Butterfly smartphone has a waterproof case that made by a plastic case to ensure the whole waterproof thing. It is LTE-Advanced support for cellular speeds of up to 150Mbit. New J Butterfly brings a higher-resolution 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5MP camera on the front. Other things have remained unchanged through this new Japanese’s variant of HTC One M8 including a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel, and a 2,700mAh battery. The inside has a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM. It also comes packed with only 32GB of storage, but users can further expand internal memory via microSD card slot. KDDI Japanese wireless carrier is exclusively selling the HTC J Butterfly smartphone. Unfortunately, no details on the phone’s price tag have been leaked, and the carrier has yet to confirm the exact release date. But, KDDI plans to unveil the HTC J Butterfly at HTC Conference Tokyo 2014 held August 19, 2014.
