HTC Legend Smartphone, official [MWC 2010]
As expected, during a special press conference at the MWC 2010, HTC has announced its new Android Smartphone, known as HTC Legend.
New HTC Legend is heir to the HTC Hero. It is equipped with a 3.2-inch touchscreen AMOLED display with multitouch support, works in dual-band UMTS/HSPA (900/1800) networks.
HTC Legend is running on Google Android 2.1 and equipped with an updated HTC Sense UI, which appeared to conveniently scroll through the main menu bar. In addition, shows all seven homescreen panes at once that can now place any Contacts group on the desktop, not only Favorites.
HTC Legend also has brings special apps, Friend Stream, which is showing the updates in Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, directly from the application. It also has HTC “Hidden Power” design ethos that good looks concept, the aluminum is not only shell but the chassis, and it makes devices smaller.
The HTC Legend phone is based on a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor and equipped with Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth, optical joystick, 5 megapixel camera with LED-flash and microUSB port. Dimensions of HTC Legend are 112×56.3×11.5 mm and weight 126g with battery.
In Europe, HTC Legend will be appearing in April 2010. The cost of this phone is not reported yet.
