Joining the bigger brother, the HTC One Mini has been officially announced by Taiwanese company. Like Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini to the regular model, the new handset is actually a compact version of the HTC One smartphone. It is also comes with HTC’s revolutionary technologies such as HTC BlinkFeed, HTC UltraPixel Camera and HTC BoomSound.
The HTC One Mini smartphone boasts a dual-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 500 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system along with HTC Sense 5 UI on the top. New phone uses a microSIM card slot that support for 2G, 3G and 4G LTE connectivity.
The 4.3-inch S-LCD3 display is a touch-enabled, pixel density of 341ppi, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Furthermore, the HTC smartphone has a non-removable 1,800mAh Li-Polymer battery. In term of connectivity, the One Mini is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX, MHL, DLNA, dual-band WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, and WiFi Direct.
This mini phone comes without NFC, external storage and wireless charge capabilities. Dimensions of HTC One Mini are 132 x 63.2 x 9.25 mm and its weighs 122 grams.
According to press release, the HTC One Mini will be available starting August in in select markets and followed by other markets from September.
