French resource Mobinaute published an interview with Frederic Tassy, head of HTC units in France and the Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg). They spoke about the new products of the HTC based on operating systems, Android and Windows Mobile. Tassy noted that despite the importance of a platform for Android, the majority of its flagship communicators will always be based on Windows Mobile. Moreover, the model of HTC Touch HD that is running Windows Mobile is still the most sold in Europe, despite the already released after the Android-phone, HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1), and HTC Magic.

In addition, Tassy mentioned that HTC is not working on netbook is running Android. Also, the company has no plans to soon release Android-phone without touch screen. Despite the fact that such a prototype has already demonstrated. According to Frederic Tassy, it is likely that this situation will change, and entry-level phone with a touch screen (for example, monoblock with QWERTY keyboard) all the same will be HTC developed. However, this will happen not earlier than after 6-8 months.
