Few days ago, we had reported another Facebook-centric phone. The HTC Status has official announced by HTC and AT&T on its Facebook wall. As mention, the HTC Status is actually a rebranded the HTC ChaCha smartphone with changing logo on front of handset and of course, its name.

HTC Status Specifications

The Facebook-centric HTC Status is brings a 2.6-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixel, a full physical QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, a microSD card reader, Wi-Fi, HSPA, Bluetooth, a 1250 mAh lithium-ion battery, and GPS.

HTC Status Facebook phone is boasts an 800 MHz processor, 512MB of ROM, 512MB of RAM, and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS along with HTC Sense UI.

The release date and pricing of AT&T HTC Status smartphone is still unknown at moment. Besides coming to AT&T, it is also reported the existence of the Facebook-centric HTC Status on Telus Canadian wireless provider.
