HTC Wildfire Smartphone hits India then Australia

HTC has launched new alternative smartphone in India, namely the HTC Wildfire. Actually, the smartphone is already available in Europe market and now available in India market for priced at 16,000 INR (about $343) unlocked.

The HTC Wildfire is a cheaper Android smartphone alternative to HTC Legend and HTC Desire. The HTC Wildfire smartphone is running on Android 2.1 with the Sense UI and boasts a 528MHz processor, 512MB ROM, and 384MB RAM. This Android Wildfire has feature a 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen display, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, HTML browser, Stereo FM radio with RDS, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with flash, and built-in social networking integration (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace).

HTC Wildfire has a 1300 mAh battery and enabling up to 8 hours of talktime, up to 480 hours of standby mode. According to some sources, HTC should be bring the HTC Wildfire to Australia through Telstra and probably come in August 2010.
