TMOToday reported, citing an anonymous source at the HTC develops its own HTC netbook. If this information is correct, HTC apparently has decided to extend its influence beyond the market of phones and communicators. Interestingly, some time ago, they have appeared rumors about the imminent release of the normal mobile phone from HTC. It is likely that the company is really considering the possibility of entering new markets. In addition, the portfolio HTC already have ultra mobile computer HTC Shift in the form factor of a slider with QWERTY-keyboard that is running Windows Vista operating system.
Regarding the forthcoming netbook, the source states that it will be based on the platform of Android. Like Android HTC phone, netbook will be sold in T-Mobile network and to support its 3G services in the standard because of the embedded modem. No more information about the characteristics of HTC netbook. According to the TMOToday, the model will be released onto the market before the end of the year.
