HTC WiMAX handsets for Sprint Nextel and Global Mobile

HTC has plans to release a Smartphone (or even two) to support WiMAX technology.
According to source, the HTC handsets will go on sale in the Sprint US cellular operator in the first half of 2010.
According to unofficial information, the HTC device is called HTC A9292 (HTC Supersonic). It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch AMOLED display, and runs Android 2.1 OS.
To the Taiwan market, HTC WiMAX phone will be sale via Global Mobile. It is possible that in the United States and Taiwan will be presented to different models.
Recall that Russia has already sale HTC MAX 4G, which is supporting work in the WiMAX networks via Yota operator.
