Huawei has officially announced its Android smartphone for Japanese market, the Huawei Ascend D2 HW-03E. It is sold exclusive for NTT DoCoMo and support for the carrier’s Xi LTE network that theoretical capable to maximum downlink speed on 112.5Mbps.
The NTT DoCoMo’s Ascend D2 HW-03E is actually the Japanese version of the Huawei Ascend D2 smartphone. This phone has a slightly difference on Xi LTE capabilities and some features, while other specs are remain unchanged. The Ascend D2 smartphone boasts a quad-core HiSilicon K3V2 processor with 16-core GPU. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, this phone packs a 4.7-inch touchscreen display with Water Drop Clear Touch Panel technology.
Like most Japan-oriented phone, the NTT DoCoMo Huawei Ascend D2 HW-03E delivers InfraRed feature, 1Seg mobile TV tuner, NOTTV, and of course, IPX5/7 waterproof case. Huawei HW-03E Ascend D2 quad-core smartphone provides a 13.1MP rear-facing camera with F2.2 lens and Exmor RS BSI CMOS sensor.
