Huawei Honor 3C Play has been making its rounds for quite some time in the rumorland, but today, we find the smartphone already official and listed on its online store. It is a new entry-level smartphone, which is a downgraded and cheaper model of the existing Huawei Honor 3C.
The new handset is also known as Huawei Honor 3C Play Edition, which will be available in Chinese market for priced at CNY 1,101.79, while global version could be $176.90 USD. This Huawei phone will be arrive in five different flavors – black, white, blue, yellow and pink.
If you’re keeping an eye on the handset, you be glad to know Honor 3C Play has a 5-inch touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, pixel density of 294ppi, and OTP single screen calibration technology. Under the hood, pumping life into the device, lies a MediaTek’s MT6582 chipset with quad-core 1.3GHz processor and Mali400-MP2 GPU.
It’s coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. The phone can accept a microSD card for extra storage capacity. New Huawei Honor 3C Play Edition runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system with its own proprietary Emotion UI overlay on top. This device provides dual-SIM capabilities, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, AGPS, 8MP rear and 2MP front cameras, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G support.
