HumanWare BrailleNote Apex, notebook with Braille

HumanWare has introduced its special notebook that very useful for users to make their physical disability, called BrailleNote Apex. The BrailleNote Apex is essentially a kind of notebook, specially developed to meet the needs of people with sight problems. It is a compact mobile computer, adapted to reading and entering information for blind users. Externally of BrailleNote Apex looks like a laptop without a display, it is equipped with a special panel of Braille. This panel is located under the keyboard, and helps blind user to read information. It has a Braille display and Braille keyboard.
HumanWare BrailleNote Apex has a thickness of less than 2cm, weighs is only 816 grams and, according to manufacture, it is the thinnest, lightest device of this kind. The HumanWare BrailleNote Apex is runs on the Intel Atom processor, it is equipped with 8GB of built-in flash storage, and slot for SD/SDHC card, and its keyboard is made using a full-size QWERTY keyboard. In addition, there are three USB ports for connecting accessories, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The HumanWare BrailleNote Apex is runs on a Windows CE 6 operating system and decent variety of accessible software. The price and release date of this HumanWare BrailleNote Apex is not reported.
