I-O Data has unveils new slim external optical drive, called I-O Data DVDP-U8S. It is a DVD drive with black-painted. The I-O Data DVDP-U8S drive comes with a USB 2.0 interface (mini USB connector). It is capable of read DVD up to 8x and CD up to 24x. Slim I-O Data DVDP-U8S external optical drive has dimensions of 137x154x20 mm (WxDxH) and weight 340g.
I-O Data DVDP-U8S external drive is backed by a one-year warranty. It will be available in Japan market on this month for price of 7,900 Yen (about $87).
