I-O Data has released a new external 3.5-inch hard drive that called the I-O Data HDCA-LU.

The new drive is designed for use not only computers but also with your multimedia device likely TV that supports playback from external storage. The I-O Data HDCA-LU external HDD is used USB 2.0 interface.

Dimensions of I-O Data HDCA-LU are 185 x 120 x 39 mm and weight about 1.1 kg. It is comes in two color options: black and white.

I-O Data HDCA-LU portable hard drive is available in 1TB and 2TB of capacity.

It will go on sale the end of this month for price of $125 (1TB model) and $203 (2TB). The 1.5TB version of I-O Data HDCA-LU will be available in mid-February 2011 for price at $164 and $383 for 3TB model that will release in early March 2011.
